At the Canton Fair in 2016, a lady from Ghana was tired after walking around the exhibition, but nobody invited her to sit and rest. Everyone knew that the fair was overcrowded, with small booths and nowhere to sit and take a break. Miss VANI was also busy at her booth greeting customers, but she noticed the exhausted woman. She took her own chair and handed it to the lady, along with a bottle of water. After some time, VANI finally had a moment to rest. When she turned around, she saw the lady still sitting there, smiling at her. VANI greeted the lady and learned that her name was Adowa and she was from Ghana. Shortly after, another wave of customers arrived at the booth, and VANI got busy again. Adowa took VANI's business card and went back to her hotel to rest.
Normally, the story would end there. However, the next day, a gentleman from Australia called VANI and expressed his interest in visiting their booth. It turned out that Adowa, who had helped James, the Australian man, when they were both at the hotel dining together. James was a property developer in Australia and was in China for the first time looking for suppliers of kitchen cabinets and wardrobes. Adowa recommended VANI, saying, "This Miss VANI is a cabinet maker. I saw her products at the exhibition, and they look as nice as VANI herself." Adowa shared the story of that day with James. As a result, James visited VANI's booth the next day, and that's how our current container order came about. Until now, Adowa has been in contact with VANI and has referred several local Ghanaian developers. This is perhaps the result of kindness being passed on.
